The mission of the Roy Chowdhury Mikes Foundation is to develop strong communities within Transylvania and to preserve their values through cultural and leisure activities. In the past few years we have organized dozens of events - from the folk music and dance camps to provincial football cups - that have contributed to the reorganization of such small communities.

We want to go on with this initiative widening the range, involving as many small communities and settlements as possible, offering the richest program and as many events as possible. We stand for activities that are capable not only of preserving traditions but make tradition as well. In our opinion all the initiatives that reach the level of self-organization can be considered successful.
